3-Month Practice Internship

For Law Students Who Want Real Courtroom Exposure.

This is the second level of internship at LCMA — designed for students who are ready to step beyond theory and engage with the real world of litigation. If you’re someone who plans to join court practice after graduation, this internship is where you start preparing for it seriously.

Most students realise too late that litigation isn’t just about knowing law — it’s about learning how to function in the legal ecosystem. From managing files to understanding court processes and interacting with clients — none of it is taught in college.

This internship gives you the chance to work offline, on-ground, and under close supervision of the Founder. It’s not a passive role. You’ll be involved in real-time case discussions, observe court hearings, assist in drafting, and begin understanding how an advocate builds and executes litigation strategy.

What You Will Gain

Courtroom exposure: observe hearings in the Punjab & Haryana High Court and District Courts

File study: understand case files, petitions, replies, applications

Assist in live drafting: legal notices, bail applications, writ petitions, family court pleadings

Learn from real-time legal discussions, client strategy, and argument preparation

Get mentored personally by Utkarsh R. Madaan and see firsthand how a litigation practice is run

Preference Criteria

This is a callback internship, and preference is given to:
